I take the battle to their camp of strength in violation of Sun-Soo in order to get the best counter attack possible. The arguments I make are extremely technical having to do with what I call the RP free float and how it undermines the ability of the free market to determine equilibrium in the cost of money. It is the intrinsic engine which permits the building of incremental inflation and the psychological acceptance of ever greater increments. The FED now has the Treasury's problem: rollover. Economic prosperity now will depend ever more on maintaining the size of the rollover and so the prosperity will be built on the illusion of inflated wealth. I won't go into all the details, but the bottom line is that those who presumably learned a hard lesson 20 years ago either have retired, died, or been converted to 2 + 2 = 5. Those who got religion on 1/1/80 started backsliding on 8/12/82, got re-converted in '88, and cursed god in '93, joined up with the devil in '95, and showed their horns on 10/8/98. They will be crucified on a cross of gold.
