Witold.. max90's reference to the Orange County Register article is cute but not particularly relevant. If you've read much of Jonathan Lansner's business column he's more of a pundit writing exclamatory columns than a stock picker. Kanakaris is an internet gamble like a thousand other companies competing for internet territory and business models. Amazon.com was recently valued at no more than $ 35.00 per share. The valuations of most internets are off scale.. so what do you do?

Look for management that's agressive, that has an innovative vision of new business models, that actually pursue and get the attention of the investment community and visionaries. KANA has done that remarkably well for a small company, getting both Caspar Weinberger and Microsoft's Vice President on stage. They are pursueing multiple fronts some of which may fail, others may become the next Amazon.. then you'll have to decide if its worth 35 or whatever price it appears to warrant at the time. For me KANA's price is a trading range between 1.50 and 10. Financials are supposed to be forthcoming so you'll have a better handle later this year.

If you want to have security you can't buy internet companies, but you can place very agressive money on potential winners. Good luck.
