In this little Victorian town where I live, we still have many honest-to-goodness Hippies. They are still trying to "become one" with the cosmos, live off the land, scream loudly whenever something new is proposed for the community, and keep the pot market quite active. (Occasionally my wife and I can almost get high just from sitting on our back porch and inhaling the neighbor's emissions!) If you were to ask these folks if we have come full circle it would be a nonsequitor because they never left the starting gate. And most of them don't have a pot to pee in, much less gold bars.
