That is an interesting perspective. The USA is King. The Millenium Bug (book) says the same thing. Short term our markets are vulnerable to scares worldwide so I don't expect immediate benefits when other countries stumble, but as long as our 'damage' is minimal we should get some great buying opportunities.

On the other hand, I would think our economy is more technologically driven than most if not all other countires so while the percentage of tech firms addressing the problem is probably higher here than in other countries the real question is what percentage of our economy will be affected by the bugs than other countries. We may be more vulnerable than it appears relative to other countries. As always I'm just theorizing.. I'm really going this time.
