El: It's really rich when a rag that makes a living from trading stale gossip then publishes an article about people making money trading on gossip. Its like journalists interviewing journalists. The Street.com even got that rumour about a rumour wrong. The rumour started on The Street.com and was reported on this board as a rumour and criticised by me with my customary contempt for the source. BTW did you hear that LU is going to make a bid for COMPAQ next week at $85 per share in order to get its hands on Alta Vista. It reckons it can get all its money back by spinning off AV. Keep it to yourself.
