I have registered access to the New York Times Online, and I couldn't find such article. Perhaps this article is only available on their printed copies. In any event, I don't see it affecting those stocks mentioned in it. Jealousy always exists. Also just spent some time reading all I could read at www. mercata.com. The idea of giving consumers big discount on highly-demanded products reminds me of Costco stores in Seattle area. Is this what Paul Allen and his people have in mind: to create a new Costo on the Internet. I am extremely excited about it. I can't wait to go back and check out the grand opening tomorrow. It seems to me that Paul Allen's e-commerce vision is to blow Amazon.com out.
