"So you think MSFT is a buy here? " I think that test says that your theory is historically valid, and 20% looks like a really good number to use. Using your theory, 80% of the high close of $95 would be $76, rounded off slightly. My style wouldn't let me buy here until I saw it move above the downward sloping trendline here, but I have a bearish outlook on the whole market. 72.25 and 76.50 look like support levels here. So try to buy right here and put a stop level somewhere under $72, if you want to assume that history will indeed repeat itself? BWTHDIK
