Any time you introduce more shares you dilute the price, even in an aquisition scenerio. With all due respect, this is not true. You may often hear companies go out of their way to pronounce an acquisition as acretive(oposite of dilutive). What this means is the newly purchased companies earnings increase the earnings per share, even when taking into account the increase in shares outstanding. jmt
