@AMZN, your mothers painting got 10 bids and a price of US 155

The painting @Ebay got 7 bids and US 127.

Not representative, but interesting that Jeff-Auctions is doing so well. Most of the bidders just signed up in May.

You mean Amazon-Auctions I presume. Interesting, yes, but this is such a small data set (one auction each site). Additionally, there were two unique bidders at Amazon, and four unique bidders at eBay.

FWIW, Amazon was a little easier to deal with (for a first-time seller, as my mother (with me helping) and I were. Unfortunate that the front page search feature at eBay does not search the item descriptions (e.g., her name was not included in the title -- my unforeseen mistake). Amazon does include the description in the search by default.

Also, while I requested the auction's inclusion in the Gallery at eBay (extra $0.25), I never did see the item appear there.

Lastly, Amazon somehow had time (many fewer auctions, users, etc. at this point) to respond to a few queries we had. eBay has not responded to the questions about Gallery inclusion and a request to add her name to the title (not that I expected them to fulfill this request). There's some learning involved.
