Even though Ms. Jones and I have concerns about the pace of the Asian recovery, that doesn't mean that we, as you imply by responding with the above quote from Rubin, don't want to "work around the world to promote growth." Rubin is generalizing whereas Ms. Jones is specifically talking about the particular speed of recovery in a particular region. To have missed this implies, in my opinion, that you just weren't thinking when you made the comparison. If you still think your comments are reasonable, please start again, but do not thou give us partial quotes out of context from someone you do not know who was not addressing the specific issue you are concerned about.
