Are you serious? Do you really think that speculation & rumors should not be corrected and stated for what they are? The Lucent and Universal "relationship" was stated as a known truth, not speculation, not rumor, not a possibility. Re-read it. Stating something of such matter is either a)inside info b)rumor/speculation c)an outright lie.
To suggest that I shouldn't put them in the proper light is ridiculous. The fact that people didn't correct it the first time either suggests everyone know's it isn't true (given the chatter on this board I find it hard to believe that someone else wouldn't have pointed it out if it was known as an incorrect statement) or they are relying on it as a true statement. It is not a true statement as WE know.
So, to toast BS, rumor, & speculation, I will add my list of relationships: EDIG & Lucent have working relationships with Sony, BMG, Virgin, Columbia, Geffen, Real Networks, AT&T, & every other company that is involved in an on-line music distribution effort. That's right folks, you heard it here first....EDIG is a guarantee! And Kerry, do not correct the above falsehoods. Rather, spread them about as truths. Remember Kerry, they "could be true" & "it's a little early....to announce."
This isn't RBull5h1t and I'd prefer if it didn't turn into such.
