I don't disagree. I bought the puts near the high Thursday playing for a late fade, which I got, but got busy and didn't close the position. When I saw Globex Friday morning I was glad to have them, and let them ride through the weekend, which I normally wouldn't. Some of my stocks such as CDN and MASK are trading at a pretty low PE to projected earnings, so I'm not expecting them to get hit very hard. With the semis recovering, I'm hoping that the semis won't get hit too hard, though they may.
I haven't had a chance yet to study the inflation numbers that sparked the rate increase, but they must have been pretty bad. With energy prices up significantly some expectation of inflation surely was built in.
As for CTEC, I will look at it, but if you gave me a choice between strong fundamentals and strong management, I'd invest in the management, so your "endorsement" doesn't make it sound too attractive. Also I tend to stay out of the medical field as I just can't keep up with everything.
