Scumbria, No disagreements here. I expect K7-core to do scale much better than PIII-core given comparable processes. It has been almost a decade since the last time I did any serious engineering work on processor architectures. I just wanted to get some clarification on your comment and also see if you have an architectural insight that I could benefit from. Chuck
