Carl, As I recall, one of the big components in the Consumer Price Index that jumped, was tobacco. Now why that would be of any significance baffles me....but the Index did rise, even though the PPI had not shown a similar jump..... Because of the source of the rise, I'm staying long (but nervous)..:-) As for CTEC...I really can't recommend it. Was just mentioning where some of my "mad money" was stashed, preventing me from making more rational investments -- like ETEC, DPMI...maybe RMBS...
