Saw a blurb that China's economic growth has slowed to 3.5 %.

I guess there are a bunch of people that don't understand this story.

In my view, this company will just keep growing. Even if growth slows, China is starting to make more of its own pulp. Pulp is an international commodity priced in US dollars as our chips. Price of pulp is at a historical low and the company still makes buckets of money. When pulp recovers (an it appears that it has somewhat), they will make two buckets of money.

The GEMS consortium viewed this as a good opportunity. By this time next year, the company will have to get the price of the stock to at least $ 1.72 or face a heavy interest penalty. While management doesn't appear to be overly concerned with share prices in the short term, they will be certain to get the stock over $ 1.7 by next year. Frankly, I will be surprised if it is trading at less than $ 3 next year at this time.

Reason I bought more was that I can't sit and watch the day to day activity of the market anymore.

I see no reason to loose sleep owning shares in TRE.

Cheers
