Gary - Re: "What is the number for Dixon and Coppermine ?"

Right now, Dixon is spec'ed at 366 MMHz on a 0.25 micron process and at 1.6 volts dissipates in the neighborhood of 8 or 9 watts.

Coppermine will run at about 1.6 volts, and - ignoring the on-chip L2 cache - should dissipate 36% less power at the SAME FREQUENCY as a Pentium ///.

Of course, the Coppermine will be able to run at 600 MHz at the time of introduction.
