It's the same liberal train of thought that allows the criminal, wrongdoer, non-producer, welfare recepient, (take your pick, they all fit) more rights than the victim of their deeds.

True story, in my own neighborhood this week: One of my neighbors owns a convenience store which is located in front of his home. Wednesday night, his store was held up. As the robbers were driving off, my neighbor took a shotgun and shot at the tires of the car, trying to disable it. He fired several shots, and one of them went thru the back windshield and the passenger was hit in the head with buckshot. The driver continued, until the car was stopped some twenty miles away. The driver escaped on foot and still remains at large. The passenger (brain dead at this point) was taken to the indigent care hospital in Atlanta (Grady) where his life support was disconnected Friday night.

Now here is the kicker....My neighbor has been charged with Aggravated battery (expected to be upgraded to Murder tomorrow) for shooting at the car! The Liberal laws in Georgia do not allow for the use of deadly force to protect property, and since the car was driving off when my neighbor shot, they claim his life couldn't have been endangered. (unless he remembers maybe seeing a gun...wink wink)

All I can say is that I hope I have jury duty that week....
