Michael, I am grateful for the testimonial. I agree that the quality of the posts has generally been high, and I figure that there are those such as yourself who are moved to post less frequently, but follow along pretty faithfully. Other good examples are bp and George Coyne, who are usually with us, but only speak up from time to time. I read every post on this thread, which I consider my main thread, only occasionally "skimming". On the Kosovo thread, I skim, and sometimes skip, more, mainly because of offensive posters like Emile, or because of reiterative arguments, but I read the bulk of the posts. On the libertarian thread, I have kept up for quite awhile, arguing the differences between conservatives and libertarians. I recently have spent some time on the other Scandal thread, and have been faithful during that period of time, at least. Anyway, those of you who post "as the spirit moves" frequently make important contributions, too, because they are well- considered, and they are appreciated... |
