Jeff,...One of the useful aspects of participating in these discussions on these BBs is that people with some access to detailed information can transmit that information to some of us who are less informed. Let me ask you; What do you know about the relationship between Kodak and SSPI? Is Spectrum building a high dollar board that is incorporated in the system that Kodak is using to create the digital images that they put on CD's and sell to retail customers in addition to the usual film processing? If Kodak is successful in selling a lot of digitized pictures to their retail customers is it likely to result in tens of thousands of high dollar items purchased from SSPI? Or are SSPI's maximum potential sales limited to tens of items rather than tens of thousands? I have been reading these notes on this Board for about a year now along with the SSPI news releases and I don't have a clue. I only know there was supposed to be some association between SSPI and Kodak related to the retail digital imaging but I haven't seen anyone post any details here. If you review my other posts on various subjects you will notice that I do tend to research my subjects and post detailed information as I find it. The reason that I have been given for the lack of detailed information is that the customer requires secrecy. In any case, I'd be pleased to hear any hint of anything that you might know that you can share with the rest of us. Thank you for whatever light you can shed.
