I'm not sure where you're going here.
Alot of those intersections were 10-15 kilograms, and would have 8-16 diamonds in that size bin. SD's are not really relevant. In your worst case scenario...you have 8 drill holes, each with 15 kgs, OK.
So...there are 0, 0, 0, 0, 5, 5, 5, and 105 diamonds in each. Well, that certainly would "imply" that the "grade" is highly variable, but the grade is still there...right?
Actually, all it implies is that the sample size is way too small to be meaningful.
I would "worry" more about differing values across different grid squares than about differing values with really small samples.

Put another way...had the drilling been done with HQ instead of NQ, the SDs would have been less, based on sample size and the random chance of finding diamonds even in a consistent deposit.
I think your worry about varying grade is unjustified to the extent you state. MRDI will not base any conclusions on one individual 10 kg sample.
The "thinning" of the dyke is another matter, though.
