Jim,

The Paine Webber analyst's timing of his downgrade, 3 business days before earnings, was very interesting, especially given the fact he had nothing more ominous to say other than that there was a cutthroat competitive environment in the PC industry.

It does not appear he enjoyed the same leak Niles did in Q-4, as Dell has repeatedly stated they are very comfortable with current estimates for Q1.
