UK & Ireland: SIEG.F) has no plans to buy its U.S. partner 3-Com (Nasdaq:COMS - news), Siemens chief executive officer Heinrich von Pierer said on Monday. ''We don't want to buy 3-Com, rather we want to continue our cooperation with them,'' von Pierer said at a news conference. Recent media reports said several international companies were interested in taking over 3-Com. Von Pierer also said that Siemens planned to sell off all shares in its semiconductor division in the long term.
