If shares are bought by the company, taken out of the float, then issued(often as 144) to acquire, then EPS may be unchanged, but believe me, the impact on stock price with fewer shares in the float will be there--even if it shouldn't. The more thinly traded you make a stock, the greater the volatility. TG
