On 8/28/98 I have an intraday low of 271.60 for the lead month gold futures contract. Close of 275.40. Close on friday was 276.20. Low 275.80. This is what I use. I'd say we are retesting the lows now. Successful? We will know shortly. The XAU is diverging, suggesting we are near a low in bullion, at this time. Jim
