Interesting conceptual leap. However, there is no evidence to support your conclusions.

Three properties of kimberlite make it a good source of diamonds: high CO2 content, deep source, and rapid rise to surface.

There is little evidence of resorption in the diamonds recovered.

Alluvial processes tend to enhance grade not the opposite.
"Heavy mineral separation of these and other FALC extra-crater deposits indicate a significant upgrading of heavy mineral (S.G. >2.9g/cc) in the reworked sections [...] This implies the diamond distribution has been strongly upgraded in the reworked strata relative to the primary."
