SAN JOSE, Calif., May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Brocade Communications Systems, Inc., (BROCADE(R)) a leading supplier of Fibre Channel Fabric switches for Storage Area Networking (SAN), announced today that Groupe Bull has selected the BROCADE SilkWorm(R) family of switches to use in the Groupe Bull high-performance Escala Series of Unix servers and for SAN solutions in heterogeneous environments. Including the BROCADE SilkWorm solutions in the Bull product catalogue enables Bull to offer its enterprise customers highly-available, centralized storage consolidation and LAN-free backup and restore solutions. The two companies are currently in the process of finalizing an OEM agreement.
