Back to the drawing board for my Hamilton Group theory..., the following email just arrived from Jim Graham at Jordex:
Dear David,
Thank you for your interest in Jordex. The names in your e-mail note to me are not associated with the Hamilton Group from White Plains, NY. As stated in our annual report and in a news release January 25, 1999, William Staudt, the president of the Hamilton Group LLC, became a Director of Jordex and is spearheading Jordex's acquisition effort. Mr. Staudt is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Michigan Law School. Earlier in his career, Mr. Staudt worked for A.G. Becker Inc., a merchant banking firm, which was later taken over by Merrill Lynch. He formed his own partnership shortly afterwards. Although Hamilton Partners LLC has been active in real estate dealings, their experience is broad and I would characterize them as generalists in their industry.
In addition, we are actively considering exciting acquisition opportunities for the Company in the technology/internet sector however as to the timing of a deal I am not in a position to say. We are anxious to bring this process to a conclusion but at the same time we are ever mindful that the quality of the acquisition is of most importance.
Best regards,
Jim Graham
