I think that it is likely that US interest rates will increase this year assuming that the US economy remains strong. The US auto companies were all downgraded today. It is possible that the US economy could slow without an increase in interest rates. I am just suggesting that the fed will wait a bit longer just to make certain that an interest rate hike is necessary.
