I could not agree with you more about Gilder's vision. My only point is that his vision actually dooms his newsletter service (and others' similar services) because of the free flow of information. I think that George Gilder is a genius, but I have never paid for his newsletter. I have read tons of his articles from multiple sources, including the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, and Limbaugh Letter. I have also read his free samples, and they are still very timely. So please don't accuse me of making fun of him. "You are making a big mistake being cheap and making fun of the cost. Gilder's monthly report has already made a lot of people a lot of money. $295/year is a steal. I would pay 10x its current price. I have read every issue since it started three years ago. Excellent scuttlebutt on the fast changing technologies of semiconductors and bandwidth (via land/air/sea). Gilder is an incredible tech reporter. The best on earth in my opinion. No one else is even close in this space (semi and bandwidth)."
