Bart,
My interpretation of the alluvial processes during marine transgression over the FALC pipe field is not at odds or contrary to the inferences and suggestions made by Mr. Leahy.....in fact, if you put Mr. Leahy's suggestions in the context of a marine transgression, reworked kimberlite will translate into paleo-alluvial placers....by nature, they will be narrow, thin and ribbon like, with low tonnage potential....if a supportable and reasonable geological interpretation also has negative economic implications, so be it.....it is not "bad mouthing".....I am only presenting another view, and surely all reasoned views and opinions are welcome, especially if they help re-assess perceived levels of exploration and investment risk? I view that as healthy.....It was and is the unsupported hype of average joe I was calling into question, and not KRT....
regards,
teevee
