Hey Drew, this is probably old news, but two blocks of 1,000 May 50 options traded at 3/16 at 10:36 and 10:38. The implied volatility was about 69 and the theoretical value was less than 2 cents. IMO, the specialist wasn't buying at that disparity between fair market value and theoretical value. So who would want to burn money at the rate of $18,750 per thousand lot? What gives? Mark A.
