Regarding your story about how DATEK sucks: If you knew anything about how syndicates/brokerages work...you would understand...but since you don't, here goes for you and others: The underwriters probably communicated to DATEK that they would probably be "allocated" X number of shares, of which DATEK jumped the gun and allocated out those shares...when the underwriters told DATEK that they wouldn't get that number of shares, the only thing DATEK could do was to cancel the trades...I'm sure they (DATEK) were working for their customers, because it only means more trades/more money. So cool your jets and move on. The mere fact that IPO's have the potential to be grabbed by individual investors was unbelievable a couple of years ago...so stay tuned and be patient.
