t2k, the trial is irrelevant. This consolidation in MSFT's share price is purely technical. It happened last year as we headed into June, and we are seeing the same exact pattern this year. Remember, the stock doubled while surviving some of the worst PR possible that was generated by the DOJ case.

Again, this consolidation is purely technical; in the long run it is best for the long term health of MSFT's stock to endure this churn.

We are almost finished with the process. MSFT will head higher in the short term. Dell may be the catalyst to push it forward.
