DRRISK: I suppose you think the next high will be lower. But to make sense of that you have to believe that COMPAQ is on a long-term declining trend. Fundamentals suggest the opposite. Besides, I have already said it is going to $55, at least, before the end of 1999.

Even on a TA basis, you should not make too much of the lower low 5/4/99. News and events overpower "normal" TA rules. To get to that low required an earnings warning followed by the dismissal of the CEO and CFO. The first is an unusal event the second is once-in-an-epoch event.
