Revenue in Europe for free Internet access... Probably for now AOL and others will receive revenues from advertising...but they will be signing on customers...developing loyalties to the AOL portal as well as establishing their brand name...all of this in anticipation that... Eventually European phone lines are going to be forced to become more like US (free local calls)...and then the various Internet portal companies will begin to charge for service...At that point, unlimited access to Internet at $22/month will be cheaper for Europeans than what they are paying now on a minute by minute basis for local phone usage. Just a guess on my part. Mary
