They're not saying, but I can't help but wonder if the IA trial is being set up for real world testing of the ASIC as they stated they were "adding parts" (your interpretation is as good as it gets as they wouldn't explain this verbage). The context was adding video and other transmission features. It's not necessarily imperative that BCDMA be used in a complete wireless context, i.e., it can also be implimented as a broadband optical application.

Of course, we all know Hughes is a big TDMA customer of IDCs - and the main purveyor of ongoing licensing IPRs for IDc.
