First, the Coppermine will most likely be released at 600 MHz in CONJUNCTION with the 820 chip set/Camino and RAMBUS. I would expect that 667 MHz Coppermines and Cascades will be available before the end of the year - 1999. Mobile versions of the Coppermine - with Geyserville technology - will also be readily available. My guess is that "60 Watter" K7 won't be seen in a mobile configuration for "a little while" ! And since you mentioned it, WILLAMETTE, well, that may not be as far behind as you would like it to be. I saw some pretty fast specInt and SpecFPU numbers with Willamette/Foster CPUs and COLUSA chip sets. It wouldn't surprise me if Intel's customers see these numbers REAL SOON also - about the time the K7 is launched ! Paul
