It is interesting reading. Whatever you do, make sure you post it on flame thread. ******** Dear Mr. Druss Thank you for writin me about Lee. I shor member him all rite. I wuz the guidence consuler for 25 yars in our skool. Lee were a real brite spot. I has wundered just what made him so special. Lee were born in a tarpaper shak next ter the fambly hog pen and turnip patch. I has always thunk that Lee did so well on a account of him getting such a good jump in life instead of like so many of our students what get born into poverty and sqauler. Most of the studints I work with don't seem ter have much drive in life. A lot of them jist want ter shovel cow or horse manure fer a career. Since wut they do away from skool is shovel hog manure I reckon it is purty realistic and it wud be a move to dryer ground. Lee had big idees rite off. He wanted to be the guy wut drives the manure truck or a whiskey taster fer Jack Daniels in Tennessee. I liked to cry like a baby when I heard this. I didn't know Jack Daniels had tasters they pay money to ter taste whiskey. I suffered fer months about this til I heared they make them tasters spit out the whiskey when they taste it. When Lee heared about it he gived up on the idee fer hisself. We was concerned too that Tennessee mite be too sofisticated fer Lee. This jist shows that Lee had real drive tho. Anyways Lee went rite thru skool like a cherry pit thru a boar hog. He made it thru 8th grade witch were a first let me tell you. Lee even found his own career too. After 8th grade he were only 21 an he started growin this plant an sellin it ter peeple out of state. No one cud unnerstand wut it were good fer cause you cud only use it fer makin rope. But then we heared it wuz good in a corn cob pipe. I reckon that were sure true. After that Lee wuz sellin ter the locals too. I reckon Lee wud be the richest man around these parts if he hadn't tried to git greedy. He gived most of his money to some Yankee trader in the stock market and Lee said he has cheated the teeth rite out of his hound dogs. Yur friend Beau Martin
