Hey look....take this comparison. There are a lot of clothing stores for casual clothes that sell a LOT cheaper than the Gap or Banana Republic for nicer stuff, but you know what? Nobody shops there. The brand is the message. Or how about online brokers? A lot of brokers are cheaper and way more efficient than ETrade, but you know what? ETrade is huge. Brand awareness. These are the gold rush days. The homestake days. You establish your territory and keep the loyals coming back. Remember. The brand is the message.
