A shift in the FOMC's members views is an important fact, *always* worthy of communication. what do they mean by 'only when it seemed important for the public to be aware, etc.' can anyone envision a situation where it would not seem important? btw, i think it is too early for both a hike in rates as well as a shift in the fed's stance, even though the bond market seems to think otherwise. although the inflation related data point to some developing risks, they are simply not yet conclusive to the extent that would justify a policy shift. just my opinion of course.

regards,
