My thoughts were if IDC could have done it for Worldwide Wireless why not AOL. I also thought Ellipso at one time was going to use B-CDMA for their satellite system so why not Hughes ? Also thought doesn't make much difference if the signal is sent by an antenna or a satellite. I just put in a satellite system for my son and he bought it through the Web for 69 dollars. As you know satellites are subsidized just like phones so everything seems to fit. It may never come to be but I just wanted to know if this could be considered a lost opportunity. The only difference between then and now is IDC has a working model to show B-CDMA works.
