I don't know if you are pulling me leg or I have isufficent research tools but, neither the Enc.Brit. nor Comptons makes any mention of your King Pyhrrus.Evidently he was a Turk or Albanian or they would not have heard his words and coined the phrase.Manhy victories have turned out this way and, when and if we are "victorious?" in this conflict, the phrase will most certainly apply.
What I said about "not being our business" was not a cop-out but a hard-line look at realism.Their are people all over this world that are being persecuted and dying and the affluent and powerful nations are doing nothing about it.Why did we pick Kosovo to get all riled up about? If the bleeding hearted liberals had not emasculated the Company, a wet team could have been deployed, terminated Milo and the problem would have been solved.
What Kosovo is,is a religeous war between Christians and Moslems.I think the KLA lit the match that started the fire that became an inferno that got completly out of their control.Although I deplore the tactics of Milo, there have always been and always will be religeous wars until the final and ultimate battle.Although I know a number of very nice Moslem people,I can not support the agenda of any Moslem led government.Jihad is A#1 on their list.
It is clear to me that you are much better read than I and could not hope to out-debate you but,I appreciate the opportunity for amicable discussion and hope it continues.
