Scott, as you know, I called Tri Vision and talked to a spokesman who actually sounded like an accountant. For other's benefit, I want to repeat that Tri Vision will assemble the initial production run in Scarborough Ont, ---some 250 000 units at $50 to $60 retail Cdn.
The spokesperson would not say who would make the CHIP that goes into the units. (Confidentiality!) Also would not say how much the wholesale price of the unit would be. (Securities rules !!!)

Will this product go anywhere? Hard to say. It seems unique. It got a lot of press. TV these days can be kind of hard to take. There is a similar thing on internet (Net Nanny) that actually is getting some cooperation, even from the porn rings (very businesslike!).
My guess is that the profit from a $50 tvi unit would be $10 or so.
Estimate annual volumes of 1 million, then 5 million, then 10 million,
and you have 10, 50, 100 million dollars net. Divide by shares, multiply by PE, and you got a share price! Is that how analysts do it? With 10 mil (?) shares, net/sh =$1; PE=10, Price=$10. Crazy?
Current price is .88, down from $1 peak range.
What should you pay? Try to get it down as low as .50 !!!
The September 1996 launch of Tri Vision will likely see the shares go much higher than $1.
Meanwhile, the patient and persistent may get some at very low prices when the reckless and greedy have given up.
Watch TVL/ase go down to 80 cents by Friday, maybe to 70 cents by next
week. If so, I will buy and hold for September.
Guessing, just guessing. Dont take it seriously.
