Back on May 6th, I added ZSUN to The Napeague Letter's "Blivit List".
Normally, when a stock has been added to this list, I receive a substantial amount of reader e-mail regarding the stock. However, the addition of ZSUN has been greeted by almost complete silence from TNL's readers.
After additional research, it appears that most of the selling pressure that moved this stock up to its highs last month was generated through telephone sales by several apparently allied offshore brokerages, to customers around the Pacific Rim. By and large, this does not appear to be internet-driven.
Subsequently, the Company has posted on its web site a set of financial statements for the 1998 year which include an Independent Auditors Report. Also numerous charges and counter-charges have been made, some of which may be relevant when assessing this company as an investment prospect. Normally, in response to this additional "information", I would update my initial write-up of the company and publish it in TNL.
However, since TNL's readers had not shown any great interest in ZSUN, on Sunday I e-mailed each subscriber asking "Is Anybody Really Interested in ZSUN?" and posted an article asking the same question on The Napeague Letter. Once again, the response from TNL readers has been "underwhelming". There is simply no interest whatsoever in ZSUN at this point in time.
It would certainly take a day, and maybe longer, for me to research, write and publish an in-depth analysis of ZSUN. Since I have a limited amount of time available for The Napeague Letter, I try to focus on "stuff" that is of interest to its readers. Needless to say, I am also not particularly interested in this stock myself.
As a result, I have decided not to update the "Blivit List" write-up on ZSUN at this time.
