Don't know. I am Latvian Jewish, Italian Catholic, English Catholic, and English Methodist in background. I married a woman who is English Quaker, Scottish Presbyterian, and German Lutheran in background. One of my brothers married an African- American woman, and they belong to a Bible church. (I have two nieces and a nephew by that union). Another brother married an Italian Catholic, but they were married at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York (a side chapel, and another niece). I grew up in an integrated neighborhood, and live in one now. My story is not as unusual as you might think in the States... |
