Hi Dan,

I saw the Rambus filing on Friday too. Without thinking too much, I
will plunge in once the price settles down - about 5 days after the
IPO, I predict. They have had so much publicity, I suspect the price
action will follow Netscape's chart for the first week or so. That is,
the price will spike way up the first day due the supply/demand imbalance
inherent in hot IPO's. Then it will quickly start falling from ridiculous
levels as the momentum temporarily reverses. Once the selling dries up in
5 to 10 days and the stock stops dropping, I will bet big(for me). I don't
expect any such phenomenom to occur for NeoMagic. If anything, given
the current environment, I bet Neo will be flat to down for a bit. Still
a good bet once the tech stocks start to recover.

As for the other pick you made, the firewall guys - I'm not too knowledgeable
in that area. But if you're sure it's a good pick, tell me more and maybe
I'll try it.

Good Luck,
Jim
