Peter, I have to say that objectively all the points you made were true except:

they are burning cash faster than they can find new sources of financing

Somehow, they keep raising cash and stay afloat. I was short this stock about a year ago, before Asensio starting issuing his press releases and I thought that was the end of CCSI. But the stock price somehow recovered.

I would not buy this stock, because it seems overvalued to me. But I think that someone is doing a fine job of selling the stock to the public, which is driving the price up. My take on it is that it's a story that people want to believe. Some people have trouble putting numbers together and estimating potential profits/sales, and if you get someone like that and tell them the story of CCSI (new technology to measure bilirubin in babies, no more heelsticks, etc) they'll buy into it.

So, I think that in the long run I believe the company won't make enough money to justify it's current valuation, but in the short run it could still go substantially higher than it's current valuation.
