heinz blasnik: Well, one would think the prudent thing would not be to encourage anymore irrational exuberance in the Markets. Of course, if any more "club members" get in trouble, I am sure a rate cut would NOT be out of the question...really...<g> However, I suspect a measure of responsibility by the FED, will finally rule the day and the very least will be done (which is really no action at all), a shift in sentiment or bias if you will toward tightening will be revealed! I think AG has already started this shift, I would not expect him to reverse it. Regards, LG
