Bill, Our first real indication of slowing, housing starts down. We'll just have to keep a watch on retail sales. Skeet (Comment : Economists and their theories have the image of being somewhat dry; even so, before the PPI & CPI the market seemed to approve of Summers. He appears appropriate for this period when cooperative mechanisms may need to be established and funded for reassessing global/regional issues in economic theory. Appreciating that theory changes with changes of perspective is important. One perspective of economic development is in the question: What are the constraints and opportunities for expanding economic multipliers in an economy and region?)
