Both Cisco and Lucent are in growing markets. Both are well run. Both stocks have been, and will be, very profitable investments.

Lucent has closer ties to telephone industry, while Cisco has closer ties to computer industry.

P.S. CSCO seems to have more TMs than Lucent.
